I couldn't agree more with my colleague the Federal Member for Greenway, Michelle Rowland - residents are sick and tired of the politics surrounding the North West Rail Link.
As Michelle's rightly said the link needs to be built and we need all levels of government to work together to make the project a reality.
Political point scoring won't get a metre of the line built.
If we're serious about easing congestion in the country's largest city we need to get people off choked roads and onto easy to access, secure, reliable rail links.
I wouldn't underestimate the benefits that would flow across a number of western Sydney suburbs if we can unite behind a viable proposal by the State Government to Infrastructure Australia.
And I'll be more than happy to sign up to the job of working with other federal, state and local government representatives to see a great proposal put forward - to get people moving more freely in western Sydney.
